Product Introduction
Product Introduction
CVD coated seal ring is a high-end seal ring that deposits diamond coating on the surface of the seal ring matrix through chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process. Diamond coating is the hardest material known at present, with extreme wear and corrosion resistance.
Technical Parameters
Parameter | Specification |
Coating Hardness | 8000~10000 HV |
Coating Thickness | 8~20μm |
Maximum Operating Temperature | 800℃ |
Thermal Conductivity | >2000 W/(m·K) |
Performance Features & Core Advantages
- Extreme Wear Resistance: The hardness is the highest, the wear rate is extremely low, and the service life is more than 10 times that of ordinary cemented carbide.
- Extreme Chemical Stability: Diamond has extremely strong chemical inertness, which can withstand almost all corrosive media, including strong acids such as hydrofluoric acid.
- Ultra-high Thermal Conductivity: The thermal conductivity is 5 times that of copper, which can quickly take away the friction heat and prevent local overheating.
Advantages Over Similar Products
Compared with DLC coating, CVD diamond coating has much higher hardness, temperature resistance and wear resistance, suitable for extreme wear, corrosion and high temperature working conditions. Compared with ordinary silicon carbide seal rings, its service life is increased by 5-10 times, which can greatly reduce maintenance times, suitable for long-cycle operation equipment.
Main Application Scenarios
- Oil & Gas: Seals for downhole oil production tools and sand-bearing crude oil transfer pumps
- Nuclear Industry: Seals for nuclear pumps and radioactive media
- Extreme Corrosion Working Conditions: Seals for strong corrosive media such as hydrofluoric acid and mixed acid
